Windows will show you a warning. Here's why.
Windows SmartScreen warns about software from any publisher it hasn't seen before. MyStudySidekick is new, so Windows hasn't built up reputation for it yet — the certificate that removes the warning is on the way.
You'll see a blue screen saying "Windows protected your PC." Click More info, then Run anyway.
Don't take our word for it — the installer's SHA-256 starts with b0cf436c5c77e8d4, and
you can upload the file to VirusTotal
to scan it against 70+ antivirus engines before you run it.
The Mac build is signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs with no warning.
